The Alternative Law Journal has been Australia's leading law reform journal for nearly 50 years. It is a peer reviewed quarterly journal. The Alternative Law Journal publishes critical scholarly articles across the broad field of law and justice, including social justice and human rights, governance and regulation, corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, critique of the legal system, developments in innovative and alternative practice, and community legal education.
Articles are critical, often cross disciplinary, and directly engaged with law and policy reform. The Journal is published by SAGE Publications on behalf of the Legal Service Bulletin Co-operative Ltd in Melbourne, Australia. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
